For the second year running I’ve been presented with the Chairman’s Purchase Prize at the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition, this time for my painting Light and Lamps which was selected for the exhibition by Cherie Federico.

The exhibition is at the Mall Galleries, London, from Thursday 15 November until Sunday 25 November 2018.

The annual exhibition is a show of small works chosen either by invitation or by submission. From thousands of artworks a total of 484 were independently selected by six prominent figures from different areas of the art world: two artists, two collectors and two critics. The curators this year were artists Bridget McCrum and Sadie Clayton, collectors Nick Ross and John Benjamin Hickey, and critics Cherie Federico and Frances Hedges.
